Gronau/ Bexbach, August 31, 2020 – Bakerman GmbH & Co KG has acquired a stake in the company Colucci Pizza und mehr GmbH & Co KG. The two have also agreed that all of Colucci’s distribution will be transferred to Bakerman.
Shaping a successful, business future always requires strong partners who intensively shape the company’s further development and further increase its competence. Bakerman and Colucci are confident that the investment will take pizza innovation to a new level. “We are very pleased to have found a strong partner in Bakerman, who will support us in sales and product development in the future. We are convinced that both companies will benefit greatly from the respective competencies. Together we will build something great. I am very proud of this,” says Domenico Colucci, owner of Colucci Pizza and more. Both companies can look back on 13 years of successful and close cooperation. The production of innovative pizza remains in the hands of Colucci and is at its heart. Sales will be switched to Bakerman, and product development will be joint. “We, Bakerman and Colucci, know our strengths very well. This division of the work areas was therefore natural for us. We can fully live out our passion for pizza in development and focus on new, innovative pizza specialties to continue revolutionizing the market. Bakerman will support us as a strong, well-connected partner,” says Marco Colucci, Managing Director of Colucci.

Bakerman’s area of expertise also expands with the acquisition of a stake in the Colucci company. In addition to toured doughs in the form of filled and unfilled croissants, sweet and savory puff pastry products, Plunder snacks and innovative hand breads, the pizza world now also occupies an important place within the product range. About Colucci
The family business Colucci Pizza und mehr GmbH & Co. KG was founded by Domenico Colucci in 1998 and has been owner-managed ever since. Today, 120 employees work at the site in Bexbach. Already in the second generation, creative and innovative wood-fired pizzas are developed and produced here according to Sicilian recipes with great attention to detail and at the highest level. In all products, attention is paid to freshness and quality ingredients, as well as loving handwork to create a unique, Italian moment of pleasure every time.
